It is distinguished by its unsual construction, which utilizes an open-faced slide with a cone bushing barrel attached to the frame by means of a transverse locking wedge. Chambered for the .38 ACP cartridge, the Model 1903 packs more of a punch than many other easily concealable handguns. This 1926-manufactured pistol features open sights and hard rubber grips. Its wood, metal and bore are in good condition.
