The Colt Gold Cup Trophy 1911 Pistol was introduced in the late 1950's to give competitive shooters a handgun to take directly from the dealer's shelf to the firing line. Able to chamber eight rounds of .45 ACP ammunition and having a fine list of features, the Gold Cup Trophy is now known as the standard for competition handguns. The stainless steel frame of the Trophy has wraparound rubber grips with a medallion, a beavertail grip safety and an adjustable aluminum trigger for over-travel. Front Dovetail and Colt Champion Bomar rear sights accent the five-inch match-grade barrel, giving the pistol the perfect blend of accuracy and stability. This single-action pistol features a skeletonized trigger and hammer and an adjustable sight and includes two 7-round magazines and the original factory box with accessories. Its grips, its metal, and its bore are all in excellent condition.
