Comments about Coleman® PerfectFlow™ Two-Mantle Propane Lantern:
I use it connected to a large tank so I can't comment about run time with the small tanks, but it doesn't even make a dent in the big tank.

Comments about Coleman® PerfectFlow™ Two-Mantle Propane Lantern:
Throws out lots of light. Canisters of propane are easy to replace. The mantles are easy to light and replace as needed. No pumping or priming first. No liquid fuel to carry in the car.
I actually use my one-mantle light more than I do the two-mantle. The one-mantle lighting is quite sufficient for camping and power outages, and it uses less propane.

It is the # of light sources. The 1 mantle has one light source and the 2 mantle has 2 light sources.Answered on 12/3/2008 by Spencer from Gander MountainA:
You burn more fuel and they get to sell more inefficient small bottles. One mantles are great...........two one mantles located as needed will light any size area far better than a two mantle.Answered on 6/1/2009 by Chuckles from Rocklin, CA
