Comments about Coleman EvenTemp InstaStart Three-Burner Propane Stove:
regulator connection to stove is poorly designed and prone to leakage. I have had this stove for 4 years now and have the redesigned regulator connection. It failed this past weekend causing a small explosion inside the stove due to propane leakage inside the stove. I am tossing this into the metal recycle bin.

Comments about Coleman EvenTemp InstaStart Three-Burner Propane Stove:
I loved this product so much I got one for my dad. I like cooking a good food. I want a quality camp stove when I am car camping. This one does the trick. Great at producing heat, but can ocassional be difficult if trying to cook something on low heat. Generally easy to clean, however, there have been some explosions where i've had to take the stove apart to clean it. Although this is relatively easy. I would definitely reccomend this product to my family and freinds. Great product for the price. I would also recomend the griddle that is designed for use with this stove.

Comments about Coleman EvenTemp InstaStart Three-Burner Propane Stove:
I've owned this stove for three years now and have used it a total of 7-8 times. It has been a great stove up until this last trip when I was in the middle of no where and found out the interior gas lines had ruptured. None of the soldered joints were bad. Just the line had split open. Left me without a stove for two days. There has been no abuse to the stove or high pressure lines or freezes so why the lines split I do not know. Expensive for only three years. Not the lifetime product I'm used to from Coleman.

Comments about Coleman EvenTemp InstaStart Three-Burner Propane Stove:
My initial tests involved frying a pound of bacon, frying 4 eggs and boiling water. It fried a pound of bacon so fast (less than 10 minutes), I barely had time to get them off the griddle; they turned out very crispy but still edible. I used all 3 burners and the coleman griddle w/drip pan (also very nice) on medium heat (or so I thought it was medium heat) it proved to be over kill. I'll scale back the heat next time and try using only 2 burners or even 1 burner on medium or high to cook the bacon. I fried 4 eggs using 1 large burner on medium heat and a non-stick fry pan in less then 5 mins; they came out perfect. I was able to boil 1 qt of water with lid on in a 2 qt sauce pan using 1 large burner on high in less than 10 mins. My wife asked me to do a comparison between the coleman stove and our house stove, the GE XL44 which has 1x5K, 2x9.5K and 1x12K BTU burners. The coleman stove was just as powerful as our house stove IMO. This stove has a lot of uses. I can see now we'll use it for camping, backyard grilling, cookouts and emergencies.

Bought this product and love it....would like to know if there is a carrying case available for purchase?Asked on 7/16/2010 by c0pper4me from Lerona, WV0 answers
Q:
has anyone tried attaching this stove to a 20lb refillable propane cylinder? Performance? What adapters do you need?Asked on 7/6/2010 by rey from Saint Johns, Florida1 answer
A:
Yes, it will work. You'll need a conversion hose. They can be found all over, just do an internet search on "propane conversion hose" and make sure it saids "converts a grill, heater or appliance that uses a 1 lb. propane cylinder to fit 20 lb. propane tank." The stove already has a regulator, so no need to buy a hose with a regulator.Answered on 7/18/2010 by Big Poppa from Manassas, VA
Q:
what is the difference between stoves
419690 at $59.99 and
412207 at $129.99 ?Asked on 2/8/2010 by Tim from 156421 answer
A:
Apparently nothing. I called customer service at the 1-800 number and my local store and they said it was simply a web special. I ordered the stove last week at 59.99 and got my email verifying that price. I called 1-800-gander today and verified it was in stock and shipping at the 59.99 price. Got to love these web specials when they have them!! Oh, even the 129.99 is less then my local store!Answered on 2/15/2010 by Thompson Gunner from Midwest
