We bought this to replace the anchor on a starting line boat for sailboat races. Our previous anchor would sometimes drag in high winds, skewing our line and affecting the competition. This anchor holds solidly; problem solved!

That probably would not be quite enough anchor for you. I would recommend a Richter anchor. Item 76821. Thats still a touch small, but other than that you would have to go to a Chene anchor, item 33822.Answered on 9/18/2009 by Bryant C from Tech Department
