Comments about Clam Tundra Ice Fishing Shelter:

I purchased the Tundra as an upgrade from a Trekker 2 man.
When assembling I ran into some issues with two poles where the holes for the telescopic release and the hinge ones were not lining up. I had to take a file and make it work. Otherwise the hand release pin will not find the hole and the frame will not lock on upright position.
The good things:
-decent fabric @ 600 Denier.
-lightweight
-robust sled
-spacious
-price
The not so good things:
-Seats are kind of ok, I installed only one to use as a table or when I have another person with me.
If both installed there is no way to put an auger or larger stuff into the sled. The seat bars fastened to the sled will block the access.
A quick remove seat system should be implemented in the future.
-Windows are sawn in so it cannot be opened.
I can open the vents at the top and the door only.
-No door at the back
-Frame poles kind of flimsy

I purchased the hyfax kit. It comes with only two strips.
I need to purchase two kits in order to cover all four bottom ribs.(over 100$)
Purchased the cover too. Does not have an access door as my older Trekker.
-No stretcher poles (I do not use them anyway)

Overall happy with the way it looks.
Decent buy for the money...
