These gloves work great. I have had frostbite on my hands in the past, so it is very hard for me to keep my hands warm but these do. I've used them ice fishing and deer and duck hunting. I was nervous about them getting wet but they still kept my hands warm.

Got them home and went to snowblow the Driveway, before I was 1/2 done my hands were freezing. It felt like I didn't even have gloves on !!! I had to go in Warm my fingers and a 1/2 hr later I then put Mittens on that were 2 yrs old so I could finish the Driveway. These are the "WORST" Gloves for the price I've ever bought. I took them back the same day I bought them.

Comments about Clam Ice Armor Gloves:
Overall, these gloves performed well. I bought these gloves for a recent ice fishing trip in Northern MN. The gloves are warm and windproof but they are not 100% waterproof. A little bit of water won't penetrate these gloves (I submerged the gloves under water once without getting wet) but don't expect to be able to reach down the hole multiple times without getting wet. We had a lot of slush/water on top of the ice and after riding off the lake in ATVs the gloves were soaked but my hands remained warm. The gloves also allow for good dexterity. You won't be able to bait or tie hooks but you should be able to remove hooks from fish you catch unlike the more bulky gloves available.

Comments about Clam Ice Armor Gloves:
I work on commercial fishing vessels. These gloves are the complete opposite of every description. As soon I touched anything wet it was like I was wearing cotton socks on my hands! The only good thing about them was keeping my hands warm on the drive over but forget about using them if there's even a drop of water around. These are terrible, and the opening in the wrist let all the cold air in. I am currently trying to get my money back.

Comments about Clam Ice Armor Gloves:
If your going to use these glove to do extreme outdoor use (move snow with atv, snowblower or ride a snowmobile, you get it)these are gloves, they have limits, so buy the IceArmor mittens they are much warmer,I did and my hand stay very warm. I got both pairs because I know glove limits.

Q:
Do these gloves keep your hands warm while outside in -30 degree temperature?Asked on 12/6/2008 by Anonymous2 answers
A:
No. Check out the Ice Armor Extreme gloves or mittens for those temperatures. I have used these down to 0* F and immersed the gloves in water at those temperatures. I stayed dry and my hands were still warm. I like these over the Extreme gloves because they have much better manual dexterity.Answered on 12/30/2008 by Haul_n_horses2 from Ann Arbor, MIA:
No. These gloves wouldn't keep your hands warm in 30 degree temperature weather.Answered on 12/16/2010 by Shantyman from Mid-Michigan
