Product Description
The Chiappa Model 1911-22 features the same weight, and handling characteristics of the original 1911, however, Chiappa redesigned the action utilizing a fixed barrel design yielding very high accuracy at an affordable price. It is the natural choice for semi-auto plinking, target shooting, and affordable handgun fun. The original M1911 was a single-action, semi automatic pistol chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. It was the standard-issue side arm for the United States armed forces from 1911 to 1985, and is still carried by some U.S. forces. In total, the United States procured around 2.7 million M1911s and M1911A1 pistols during its service life. The Chiappa Model 1911-22 features the same weight, and handling characteristics of the original 1911.

    Comments about Chiappa 1911-22 Handgun:

Once you break the weapon in, figure out which ammo it likes, it's a great gun. I've put over 2000 rounds through mine over the last 18 months. The two rounds that run with no problems through it are both CCI. Mini-Mags or Velocitors work great with it. Hates Winchester, tolerates Federal. I don't believe mine was broken in until I'd run about 500 rounds through it. The trigger pull evened out, discovered that SLP 2000 is a great lubricant to use on it.
