Got this one from GM after a major summer storm. It was an open box and cost me [$]. It started on the first pull and helped to get through a "no sesame street" crisis with no electricity and two toddlers. We run it only as a backup when electricity goes out, usually for all day and shut it off when we go to sleep. Last summer, we ran for 4 days just on this thing.32" LCD TVCable boxVCR Apple TVHouse phoneMac & monitor3 routers6 external hard drivesRegular size fridge with freezer2 box fansIt could probably do more, but we scale down during outages and use camping LED lights for lighting and avoid using microwave or electric stove. Its 80 cc 4-stroke is easy on gas and when fully loaded, it can run for about 7-8 hours per tank, which is 1.5 gallons, so you won't break the bank! There is only 1 120V outlet, circuit breaker, on/of switch and digital gauge which can show voltage, frequency and total runtime. It is fairly light, so even my wife can easily pick it up and carry around.Even if fully loaded, it still keeps 125V to 115V, although the fridge can bring the voltage down to 100V, which could cause the TV to shut off once in a while. However, it is electronics friendly, so sensitive electronics can run off of this generator without sweat.I've changed oil every 10 hours. No leaks. It is surprisingly quiet, but not enough to make it an RV choice...Cold starting tips:I make sure the power switch is set to off, open the fuel valve, close the choke, pull the coil starter a couple times to prime it, then turn the switch to on, pull once and it starts at very low idle rpms. Then just open the choke a few seconds later and the thing is ready. This is a great backup generator, cheap, sips gas, provides basic electrical needs for a small family! There are much more positive reviews on [@]. Sorry to hear that the other two here probably bought lemons

I bought this generator to use around the house and traveling. I had to return to store after one week. The generator surged non stop and did not produce constant power.

Comments about Champion Power Equipment Champion Fulfillment 1200/1500 Watt Portable Gas Generator:
Well I bought this for ice fishing and camping. Lasted 370 days or about 127 hrs and then it started to have major issues. It will cost 200.00 to get it fixed. The problem is that it leaks oil after running for about an hour - and when I say leak, it leaks all over the shroud and ground to the point the low oil shutdown occurs. Called company and they said it was out of warranty sorry. If you only need this for one trip or about a year then get it.
