Equipped with top-of-the-line features, the Celestron Granite ED Binoculars is the prime choice for the avid outdoorsman, hunter, and traveler. The ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) objective lenses minimize chromatic aberration, providing accurate color reproduction and increasing resolution and contrast. BaK-4 prisms have Dielectric high reflectivity coatings and a phase coating to increase contrast and resolution for sharper, more detailed images and increase the throughput transmission. Maximum light transmission with the highest levels of contrast is allowed through the fully broadband multi-coated lens for brighter images. The Granite ED has a close focus of 6.5' in order to view subjects in close proximity with extreme detail. The wide field of view allows users to quickly acquire the subject being seen; more viewing area and less need to move the binoculars to follow subjects.
Unlike other eyecups, the Granite ED has metal multi-stop twist up eyecups for long-lasting, accurate positioning of the eyes. Constructed in an ergonomic, open-hinge design with a lightweight, durable magnesium alloy body that is easy to hold. The binoculars have a simple operation for extended periods of time and are easy to carry on long excursions. Rubber-covered for stability from rough handling and with ergonomic characteristics such as thumb indentations and finger ridges to prevent slipping. Made of eco-friendly lead and arsenic-free. Waterproof and fogproof to protect these binoculars from the environment for a long life and precision movement. Tripod adaptable (tripod sold separately). Includes neck strap, harness strap, objective lens cap, rainguard, carrying case, lens cloth, and instruction manual. Limited lifetime warranty.
