I am a nut about my work pants. And so much on the market falls short.
Well, I just discovered, after endless seaching for the last several years (since Carhartt discontinued my go-to style, and they went wierd with their materials (too heavy / too light) and baggy with their taloring) the most killer pair of work pants ever. And they come in black. AND the have 36" inseams.
These pants are truly a game changer.
The rip stop "grid" material adds great style.
The assymetrical features are functional and very stylish.
I'm 6'4'', 200. I bought a pair of black 36x34.
The waist is just a touch big so I can let it sit a little low (a 35 waist would have nailed it, but I always wear a belt, and I like the option to tuck in a shirt with ease).
The 34 length allows the perfect break, and boot cap. A 1/2 of cuff for style is availible for when I wear my Chuck-T's.
The leg stays talior the length of the pant and does not look sloppy. If clean, they can pass business casual.
Bottom line- best pant I have found in years.
Please Carhartt, don't mess with them.

Finally, a decent pair of pants with a cell phone pocket. I was looking for cargo pants with pockets that wouldn't stick out and catch on everything. The pockets are the right size, and the fit is comrtable. I was so pleased with the design and quality of these pants, I ordered another color.

I own 6+ Carharrt pants - jeans, Dungaree fit pants, and these. They are, by far, the best pair I own. Functional, comfortable and like all things Carhartt, durable! Great buy. Highly recommended

Awesome pants. Very comfortable and great material. The legs are form fitting, not baggy. Love the cargo pockets. Also, not advertised is you get slots in the knees where you can insert neopreen knee pads (not included) if you want. So much more comfortable than wearing knee pads that slip down. These remind me of military BDU/TDU pants without the blousing. I normally wear 33/22, but 34/32 was a perfect fit, so the waist seems a little smaller than other brands. I'm about to buy two more pairs.

The rip stop with all the neccessary pockets required for any type of work, whether it's in the office or out on the job site. I personnaly like the material as it's comfortable and durable as you would expect from a Carhartt. The cargo pockets are perfect rather then baggy with all the additional pockets for accessories. The fit is great and the colors are perfect for this type of pants. I will stock up more of these pants as they seem to be a hot seller before they ran out.
