    Seriously let down.....

    When I think of Carhartt, I think rugged and long lasting. I work in an office and occasionally in the field as an electrician. I bought 5 pair of these last December 2009. ...Read complete review

    When I think of Carhartt, I think rugged and long lasting. I work in an office and occasionally in the field as an electrician. I bought 5 pair of these last December 2009. It is now the end of November 2010 and I have to replace all of them. 4 months ago I had to have the crotch patched because of a blow out. 3 months ago, I noticed that all 5 pair were beginning to get dime sized holes around the upper corner of the back pockets. As of today, they all have the holes around the back pockets, some have 2 or 3. 4 of them have serious blowouts and holes around the zipper and crotch. Needless to say, I was completely let down by the name Carhartt! I will be paying the extra and going back to Levi's where I would get 3 to 5 years of use instead of only 8 to 10 months.

            These jeans,although no longer made in USA,are heavy duty and much better constructed than most any other brand for the price.They are heavy.
            The fit,relaxed,is maybe a little tighter than other relaxed jeans.The length and waist are true to size.
