After reading glowing reviews of the product I figured I would give it a shot. First thing I noticed were the un-lined pockets. Seriously? 120 dollar jacket designed for "arctic temperatures" and you just sew a flap of material on? Secondly, this particular material will take months to work in. I understand it's made for extreme durability, but what do you do in the mean time, look like a fool with your hood laying in some ridiculous position? Thirdly, I purchased an XL/TL and it had so much extra bulk around the belly and just barely enough length im 5'10. If I had sized down to a L/TL it would have been even shorter. I returned the jacket the next day. I know there are many many people on here that are thrilled with the product, I am just not one of them.

Comments about Carhartt Extremes Active Jac/Arctic-Quilt (Style #J133):

I use these daily during the winter for work. I was given one from my employer and a couple years later I bought the same jacket in a tall size to get the waist below my beltline. They are very warm and actually stop the wind, even here in North Dakota.
You do not feel the wind breeze past the cuffed arms and waistline. You will not be disappointed if you're in the market for a warm jacket. The idea of putting two inside pockets is great - makes me want to get a new jacket.

Comments about Carhartt Extremes Active Jac/Arctic-Quilt (Style #J133):

I have had this coat for a solid 8 years the last 7 of which i have been working construction outside all winter long and I am just now going to purchase a new one my only qualm was that standard sizes seem to run a little on the short side they barely made it to my waist and I am not an extremely tall guy at only 5 11

      Great Jacket

Comments about Carhartt Extremes Active Jac/Arctic-Quilt (Style #J133):

I would definately recommend this jacket to anyone. I live in northern Manitoba and stayed toasty warm with only a hoodie and this jacket in -39 windchill. Only complaint is that the jacket is very stiff after 4 washes its still pretty stiff, hopefully it'll break in soon.

I have just got this jacket, but in the amount of time I have had it the J133 Extreme Jacket is a very nice and warm jacket.
