Without a doubt the best coat I've ever had. Light weight, durable, warm, well wearing and good enough to wear on social occasions. I've had mine for 3 years, wear it every day in the winter, and it still looks and performs like a new one.

After reading glowing reviews of the product I figured I would give it a shot. First thing I noticed were the un-lined pockets. Seriously? 120 dollar jacket designed for "arctic temperatures" and you just sew a flap of material on? Secondly, this particular material will take months to work in. I understand it's made for extreme durability, but what do you do in the mean time, look like a fool with your hood laying in some ridiculous position? Thirdly, I purchased an XL/TL and it had so much extra bulk around the belly and just barely enough length im 5'10. If I had sized down to a L/TL it would have been even shorter. I returned the jacket the next day. I know there are many many people on here that are thrilled with the product, I am just not one of them.

Outdoors Staying Warm

By bluemartini07

Comments about Carhartt Extremes Active Jac/Arctic-Quilt (Style #J133):

I use my jacket outdoors in the construction industry and I have found that this Men's Extreme Jacket was the best purchase I have ever made. I stay warm and dry because of the water repellent material and the wind is no match for this jacket. I recommend this to everybody.

Great Winter Jacket

By steveg

Comments about Carhartt Extremes Active Jac/Arctic-Quilt (Style #J133):

This is a great coat for extreme cold weather. The Extremes jacket combined with the extremes overalls is my standard attire for full winter fishing. I never even notice the temperature. Great product.

BULLET PROOF

Comments about Carhartt Extremes Active Jac/Arctic-Quilt (Style #J133):

I bought this coat to replace my old standard brown Carhartt work coat which was not looking so great after 14 years of heavy wear. I have been using this model J-133 jacket every day this winter and most of last winter. I have crawled through sharp metal while working in an ice cold aircraft hangar and it never snags nor is it torn. It repeals the rain and wet snow as well. So it goes everywhere with me these days . I have no doubts it will last 14 years just like my last Carhartt jacket.

Extreme Carhart jacket

By pv48sd

from S.D.

Comments about Carhartt Extremes Active Jac/Arctic-Quilt (Style #J133):

It's the warmest jacket I've ever owned. It is quite stiff when you first start wearing it but gets better with use. I'd highly recommend if you live in a very cold climate like I do.

Would Make A Polar Bear Jealous!

By Lapper

from Northeast Pennsylvania

Comments about Carhartt Extremes Active Jac/Arctic-Quilt (Style #J133):

This jacket is so warm and comfortable, if it came in full body length, you could use it for an Arctic Grade Sleeping Bag! Don't leave home without it! You could rewrite the phrase, "No Jacket Required", to, "No Other Clothes Required"!
