just got them!! for some reason, unknown to me, i thought this was a 3-pack. nope, just two to a package. initial impressions; they seem way more sturdy than my other similar heads from another company..(ryhmes with moo-do) :)

i'll edit this review when i get a rodent lined up in my sights. should be fun.

I just bought these tips three days ago, and I was extremely excited to get out in the field to test them out. Immediately after i got home i grabbed my bow, and took out the targets. They shot great; exactly like my broadheads and field points. I have shot 4 rabbits, 13 squirells, and one coyote with this tip. They all stopped dead in their tracks. It is the amount of kinetic energy that is transferred; it is like a semi is hitting these rabbits. It is amazing. I haven't had any of the springs break off yet, but i havent really missed yet. Unlike other tips i have tried, the the tip doesn't wreck the arrow shaft after impact. The arrows stand straight up, and they don't really skip as much as i thought they would. Over all these are great tips, and i would recommend these to anyone.

It is fun to shoot. If you hit a squirrel or rabbit there is carnage. Stops it dead in its tracks.

I've been using these shockers, or their equivalant, since the late 1970s and have had no problems with them. They're perfect for shooting rabbits, squirrels, dove and Ptarmigan. When you get full penitration with them, it takes the intestines out the other side. If you miss, it stands the arrow up in the grass or brush to keep the arrow from burrowing under and getting lost.

All I have to say is that these things get the job done, period. When I purchased these i was a little worried about the durability of the spring arms. Obviously I had no reason to worry. I have shot at several animals and hit my share of ground. So far the arms are holding up beautifully. Not to mention the hitting power. Stops the critters dead in there tracks.
