Product Description
The Adventure 16 Canoe provides stable paddling performance for both the entry-level paddler and those looking for a reliable family canoe. Its design is well-suited to a casual family paddle trip around the lake, early morning fishing or even an overnight trip. The multi-chine hull design delivers stability, rigidity and excellent tracking; a shorter hull length means easier handling and transport. Extended decks offer protection from sun and spray while a rolled gunwale provides extra rigidity. Adjustable comfort seating system on bow and stern seats use contoured EVA foam for increased comfort and grip. Center bench seat adds seating for a third paddler. Rotomolded from the same durable material as Wilderness Systems kayaks, Gen2 high-density polyethylene. Design features generous tumblehome which allows canoe to be paddled easily with standard canoe paddles or longer kayak paddles (230cm+). Multiple beverage holders and storage trays are included for paddler comfort.

Comments about Mad River Canoe Canoe Adventure Mad River 16 Square Stern Canoe:

Great product. In our area we do not have very many places to go canoeing. We bought this to take on our travels to Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma for fishing and scenery on lakes with mostly no motorized boats allowed so it is perfect for my Wife and I.

Comments about Mad River Canoe Canoe Adventure Mad River 16 Square Stern Canoe:

I got this in the Sand color, wow what a great little canoe, and the most comfortable seats, full adjustable backrest both forward and back and the support moves up an down. Two of us fish out of this easily, and have done everything from large lakes to quick moving rivers. Very stable and tracks well, quite quick with two paddling. Best thing is the flat transom back, put a cheep 99$ 30lb thrust trolling motor and the thing just SCOOTS! Put the battery in the middle and ran the wires under the gunwale so its completely hidden. bought a small solar panel charger that I set on the middle seat when we are out and when I used it all day I still had 85% charge left. I would recommend this to any beginner or advanced. Next is a 7 day trip on the boarder waters!! By the way, the 16 footer has about 800 lb cap, more than enough for 2 and tons of gear!!!

Comments about Mad River Canoe Canoe Adventure Mad River 16 Square Stern Canoe:

I was originally looking for a SOT kayak, but needed more storage. Mad River sits low in the water and tracks extremely well. I often use solo with a kayak paddle and it moves along very quickly. Great fishing vessel. Slightly heavy, but manageable putting on top of vehicle solo. More stable than I assumed. Poly hull very durable and seats are adjustable and comfortable.
