I love this burner

I use this for brewing beer. It is able to bring 13.5 gallons of wort to a boil in 20 minutes at full throttle. Adjustable oxygen intake for adjusting the flame to stay blue. Leg extensions are nice to get the height high. Efficient if you back the flame off once your boil is rolling.

It would also be perfect for frying a turkey.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I use this to can vegetables from my garden. The only downfall I found to it was it was not easy to adjust the flame on the burner with the "little" knob they have on the hose. It could maybe use a high/med/low type knob as on a gas grill or gas stove. That would be helpful. Other than that it works wonderful and is a huge time saver in the amount of time it takes to get the pressure canner boiling.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
