Product Description
caldwell This affordable Lead Sled may be small, but its design is just as stable and versatile as any Caldwell rest. A smooth pivoting elevation system is controlled with a single knob making adjustments onto target fast and precise. The unique offset frame accommodates all rifles including detachable magazine rifles and lever action guns. The front support is height adjustable and has a durable rubberized coating that will not scratch or mar your gun. The Solo has an integrated weight tray that will hold a single 25-lb. bag of shot. The combination of the weight and a heavy-duty spring between the frame members all but eliminates recoil on non-magnum calibers and greatly reduces recoil on all calibers.

      I will get to the point... This product is well built, very sturdy and keeps your shots accurate, just as promised by the Caldwell. I did a lot of research before buying this shooting rest and can tell you after using it I made the right decision. After assembly I used it to sight in my .22lr. Worked like a dream! Also worked well for me as a gun bench for cleaning the firearm and installing a scope. The only complaint I have is that I recieved this via Fedex in the actual box (not unmarked as usual). That was really upsetting. Anyone would have know what it was and could have stolen it.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          I can easily use my AR-15 with 30 round magazine with this product. The sled is offset to fit larger magazines. I put my tailgate down, sit in a chair and shoot accurately all day.
