Comments about Caddis Men's Northern Guide Ultralite Wading Shoe With EcoSmart Sole:
Very good boot. Bought a pair 1 size larger to allow room for wader socks. Too much sole for kayaking, but very satisfied. I can see how it would be very good for fly fishing waders, there is a very good tread on them.

Comments about Caddis Men's Northern Guide Ultralite Wading Shoe With EcoSmart Sole:
I've been a trout fisherman since childhood, mainly bait and spinners. I've always used bootcut waders but have found them hard on my feet as I have gotten older. I wanted something that had more support so I decided to try stocking foot waders. The first pair of wading shoes were krockers. I read to order one size larger. When I got them I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. They were also very narrow. After having to pay the return shipping I decided to try on boots. Gander Mountain was the only store that carried wading shoes in my area so I went there to try on shoes. I wear an 11 and they actually fit abit snug. The Caddis shoes were also a little wider which as another plus. I decided to get a size 12 to be safe but they did not have them in stock so I ordered them online. The great news was that if they did not fit I could return them to the store instead of shipping them back.I wore the boots for a 5 day fishing trip and they were awesome. I have no regrets switching to stocking foot waders and highly recommend the Caddis boots. At 1.1 lbs they are extremely light and held up great. They were a little wet but did not hurt performance whatsoever. I have now bought a peet boot dryer and the shoes dried out right away. If I were to rate the biggest value in the boots it would be the weight. I walked upstream 6 hours every day and did not feel at all tired. I recommend trying on boots as each brand varies greatly. It is hard to order sizes online with any accuracy. I would also mention that Gander's price beat[@]
