The Silverback is currently the only dual-tone 1911 in the Dan Wesson line. The stainless slide with polished flats features adjustable target style tritium sights, a serrated top rib, and ball cuts on the dust cover. The stainless steel frame is finished in CZ's Duty black nitride finish and completed with G-10 full thickness grips. The Silverback is built to the same tolerances and finished to the same levels as the Dan Wesson flagship Valor series. The rear sights are fully-adjustable for windage and elevation with two tritium vials as well as rear serrations to knock down glare. The Novak-style snag-free front sight also has tritium self-illuminated vials. Sharp, 25 LPI checkering on the frontstrap provides plenty of grip without being too aggressive. 25 LPI checkering on the flat mainspring housing provides the means for a superb grip. The long, two-slotted trigger has a distinctive look with serrated face and blackened finish. The Silverback has a standard square butt profile for those who prefer a traditional look. The skeletonized tactical hammer helps to reduce weight and maintains the clean look of the pistol. A Clark-style rib on the top of the slide helps knock down glare.
