Very good price but no bullet weight listed on the package. Have only shot them to zero in a new scope but they seem to work well. will have to retest when I shoot a different lot of sabot slugs of known weight.

Just getting back into hunting with a muzzle loader this was perfect for me. It came with everything needed to get started again. If your just starting out or like me just getting back into it this is what you need. Just buy this and the powder and you're all set.

Comments about CVA .50-Caliber Muzzleloader Pellet Shooter Kit:
This kit was purchased to go with a gun that my son wanted for Christmas. We were very pleased with the quality of the products [...]

Cons
- Missing elements
Best Uses

Comments about CVA .50-Caliber Muzzleloader Pellet Shooter Kit:
The kit did contain the essentials for starting muzzeloading. It is missing two key elements: the barrel swab and the bore cleaner. You can use patches in place of the swab, but in my opinion the barrel swab provides better barrel coverage. The bore clearer that extends and cleans out the residue is very useful and a time saver vs. soaking. I think these should be added to the kit or recommended by Gander as part of a complete package.
Pros
- Good Value
- Works With Many Guns
Cons
- Needs bore swab
Best Uses
Comments about CVA .50-Caliber Muzzleloader Pellet Shooter Kit:
[...]. Makes an excellent start up kit, would be great with a bore swab.
