Thought this wouldn't hold on, but it did. Surprised me all day long in the water, even when it got a little rough in the after noon. Was easy to remove and store. If you're a guy all you need is a wet towel, or a little spit. Let my brother in law use it and he said he was going to get one since it was easier than turning around to watch the action when he's pulling his kids. Would highly recommend it for price, style, and ease of use.

Falls off all the time in hot weather.

This is always falling off no matter how wet you make it. The suction device needs more engineering or better suction.

I'm glad I made the purchase, and I feel it was the best choice for what I was looking for in a mirror. I have had no problems with it and it is very useful. It could be a bit wider, but it performs as I need it to. It has really helped me to be able to see what is going on behind me without having to turn around all the time, and getting a sore neck. The view is clear and does not shake or vibrate as I thought it might. Thanks Overton"s!!! Priced right with free shipping, that arrived sooner than expected.

      Broke first time I tried to adjust it, snapped right at the swivel ball. If it were made out of something besides plastic it would be a very good mirror! Had to return it for a refund.

        I read the previous reviews and bought it any way. It has not fallen off once, despite several encounters w/ rough water on a 20' bow rider. I put it inside windshield in middle of boat (on back side of windshield "door" to the front of the boat. Provides full view of towable use area in back. Saves on cranking head/neck around to monitor tubers & skiers. Make sure glass is clean and put a slight amount of moisture on suction cup.

                From the photo it appears that the mirror, if mounted on a horizontal surface will not give the proper rear view. Can the mirror be mounted on a horizontal surface (boat dash) and still give a proper rear view?

                  A:

                  This is a suction cup mount so you can mount it to any flat surface to get the view that you need. Every boat is different but it should be able to mount somewhere on your boat and give an adequate view. Thhe good thing is that if you put it somewhere and want to move it somewhere else there is no damage done to the boat.
