    I bought this scope for a 1895 Marlin 45.70 I found it it to be an excellent scope but a little hard to mount on this rifle. Need to get higher mounts in order to clear the rear sights and get the proper eye relief for this rifle. On any other rifle, I think this scope would be a breeze to set up. Other wise I like it and am considering putting it on one of my other rifles.

          bought this for my father for Xmas he needed a new scope and this was a perfect gift. He was getting frustrated with his old scope for hunting kept missing the shot. So he got a early Xmas gift to finish out his hunting which was a happy ending for him,he got his Bucks!! He doesn't know he has another one for X-mas.So I asked him how was the scope, he said it was great.
