The binoculars feature a roof or porro prism system with BK-7 prism glass and fully coated lenses for high-contrast, vivid images. 10 x 50 models feature multicoated lenses. Easy center focusing and a nonslip rubber coating that absorbs shock and provides a firm grip make the binoculars comfortable and convenient to use.

      Bushnell has always seemed to produce middle-of-the road, good value for what you spend. These are just that, nice lens, average light transmission, and they serve the purpose. You can easily spend 10 times more money and get a better quality, but for me it's not necessary to have something top quality just to make sure a buck is a buck or a bird is a bird from 500 yards out. The only small negative is that I would pay more on this binocular if it were waterproof, but not willing to go to $150 for something of it's equal.
