It is easy to get lost in a european city and no one speaks English, but with this finder, I can track back to the place the bus left me.
Sometimes the straight path leads to a deadend street, but I can walk around the buildins and locate home base easily. Good on cruise ship to find where home is, even in the middle of the ocean.

This GPS unit locks up constantly and you have to take the batteries out to start it all over again! It also loses signal even on a clear day. When you try to mark a location, you could be standing still and it acts like you are moving away from that location. This unit is totally worthless for somebody who is not very good with directions in the woods or whatever.

Comments about Bushnell® Backtrack GPS:
I bought this GPS because it is simple and I like simple. It gets me there and back in the daylight and the darkness. It's very simple just follow the arrow. I have only used this hunting and not in a large parking area to find my car, that's what they make a panic buttom on your key chain for. Anyway simple is nice I would recomend.

A:
My husband loves to rabbit hunt. We have bought two GPS products prior to this one that after only a couple of times using them he would just put them away because of how complex it was to mark his coordinates. I decided to give it one more try after seeing this GPS and got it as an early Christmas present. He LOVES it! Just "click" and go. No maps. Backtracking is completely reliable.Answered on 12/13/2010 by Happy Housewife from Magee, MS

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Exactly. You would follow it as a compass after you set your starting point. When you want to return to you starting point you select it and it will lead you back to your starting point.Answered on 9/4/2009 by Matt from Gander TechVERIFIED BUYER
A:
No, it only helps you to get back to where you started from. The Dock, Home, camp site, etc... When it works it is accurate.
