      Comments about Bushnell® Banner® Riflescope, 6 - 24x 40 with Mil Dot Reticle, Matte:

I have used Banner scopes for years and while they may be the lower end of Bushnell products they are dependable and a great product for the money. I bought my first Banner scope back in the 1970's and it is still running strong and putting meat in the freezer.

Couldn't hold zero. Crosshairs seemed to vibrate after shot. Swapped it in for a Nikon.

          Service and delivery comments:

Gander Mountain staff were very understanding and helpful when I explained the problem I was having with the scope.

Good scope for the money. Easy to zero and adjust. On a Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 consistently shot .5 MOA groups at 100yds. Glass was clear from 6x to 24x from 20yds on as long as you adjust your parallax accordingly (which is what your suppose to do). Parallax and magnification adjustment is easy.

Just some things that would make it better are a side parallax adjustment, set screw or something to make it easier to return to zero after adjustment for longer shots, not having to remove the windage/ elevation caps to make adjustments for long range shots.

              Comments about Bushnell® Banner® Riflescope, 6 - 24x 40 with Mil Dot Reticle, Matte:

Considerable trouble zeroing at 50 yards; won't zero at 100 yards. After half-hour of shooting on a .22 rifle, elevation adjustment quit working and windage would move bullet strike only about an inch maximum. Obviously it has come apart inside; optics of this kind are too complicated to manufacture for this price. Objective will not focus beyond 20X or at 100 yards.

I couldn't get it to hold zero on any of the 3 rifles I tried it on. one click on the adjustment knob could move the bullet stike anywhere from 0" to 1". Sold it at a yard sale for $10.
