Product Description
bushmaster Bushmaster's Optics Ready Carbine is designed to provide a platform for your imagination: any optics, any purpose, anywhere. The ORC comes with a receiver-length Picatinny optics rail and two 1-1/4" riser optics blocks (perfect for holographic sites, scopes, or red dots) without a lot of extra factory accessories that you're going to replace anyway. But the ORC isn't a bare-bones rifle by any means. Its 16" M4 profile barrel is chrome-lined in both the bore and the chamber with an A2, birdcage-type flash hider to control muzzle flash. A heavy oval M4-type handguard provides a fore-grip while maintaining the ORC's immaculate balance and control. The ORC's six-position telescoping stock reduces overall length by 4" when collapsed for convenient carry. Every ORC is shipped with an operator's safety manual, a detachable box magazine, an orange safety block, and a black web sling. A one year Bushmaster warranty comes standard.

              Mine is equipped with a Leupold 1-3x CQT optic with circle/dot Reticle. 100 yard bench groups of less than 2-inches are expected. The relative light weight makes this carbine easier to shoot off-hand than many heavier ARs. Yesterday, I put 15 out of 18 off-hand on a standard paper dinner plate with sling at 100 yards with three near misses. This is about as good as I can shoot any AR.
              My carbine only has a few hundred rounds through it so I can't address durability. There is no significant wear and it is completely reliable. Internet experts often condemn the Bushmasters in terms of durability and overall quality. They persist in claiming that the gas tube is not staked when it is very obvious that this is not true.Other criticisms seem to be equally unfounded. ARs- like the 1911 tend to draw in internet experts and the new owner is probably better off reading nothing but the owner's manual until he has had enough experience to sort out the nonsens.

                can't get any better for the price bought this added a tack scope did a laser bore sight and went out and was on the paper from the first shot till the last never has any problems other then running out of rounds
