Product Description
bushmaster Bushmaster's BA50 is a highly accurate, long-distance target rifle built for the range. The BA50 starts with a lower Receiver that's machined from T6-6061 Aluminum billet and an upper machined from a T6-6061 extrusion with a MIL-STD-1913 rail. The rifle sports a smooth manganese phosphate finish on its steel parts and a hard anodized black finish on aluminum parts. The Bushmaster barrel is free-floated within the vented forend and it disassembles like an AR-type rifle for easy cleaning. Other features include a Magpul PRS adjustable buttstock with a LimbSaver ButtPad, a high-efficiency, recoil-reducing brake, an ErgoGrip deluxe tactical pistol grip, and a steel bipod with folding legs. 30-inch barrel. 10-round capacity. Hard case included.

    I researched 50bmg's for over a year before buying the BA50. I wanted a 50 that was magazine fed, and not just a drop on upper. I was going to pick up an M95 Barrett and changed my mind after seeing the pin holes that hold the rifle together, enlarge over time. I found a gentleman that had a BA50 and offered to let me get some time in with it. After shooting the majority of 50 bmg's on the market, this was a no brainer. I wanted better than MOA accuracy so the 82A1/107A1 were out of the question. I feel in love with the left handed bolt system. Now needless to say, it is my favorite rifle to shoot. The recoil is equal to or even less than a .243. I have punched holes in targets at 1400 meters. This is one of the best buys in big bore rifles that I have ever seen. I promise you that these will not always be as afordable. I see the price creeping up as the 50 bmg community get more accustomed to them. If you are looking for a light 50 and don't mind dropping the coin, you cannot beat this rifle. With the match grade chamber and barrel, it really gets the job done.
