Known for being one of the the first over and under shotguns on the market as well as the final firearm to be designed John Browning, the Superposed was highly innovative at its release and built to a standard that sets it apart even today. The Superposed's single mechanical trigger is finely tuned to prevent balking and doubling. The barrel selector is incorporated in the sliding tang safety for easy access. Among other weight-reducing features, Superposed Lightweights have a rounded bottom frame and a straight grip. The Pigeon Grade features detailed engraving and higher quality wood that make it the Cadillac of the Browning line. This 1976-manufactured shotgun includes a perch-belly stock, a metal bead sight, and fixed full and modified chokes. This shotgun was engraved by G. Marechal. There are slight handling marks on the shotgun's stock. Over all, its wood and metal are in very good condition and its bore is in excellent condition.
