Product Summary

In 1962 John Browning's grandson re-designed the original Colt Woodsman for easier manufacture, creating the Browning Nomad and starting Browning's line of .22 LR pistols that includes the Challenger and today's Buckmark. Based on the classic Browning blowback design the Nomad has a half-length slide that separates from the barrel to extract and eject expended cartridges. The Nomad was produced in Belgium and its high quality made it expensive to produce, forcing Browning to cancel production of the firearm in 1974. Like most target pistols, the Nomad fires cheap but accurate .22 LR cartridges. This 1967-manufactured handgun features open sights and synthetic grips. Its grips, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
