I keep this lamp within arm's reach always weather I'm camping, at the cabin, fishing or working around the yard in the evening. I've had one for years and haven't replaced the batteries yet and it's just as bright as ever. It's so lightweight you don't even know it is on the bill of your hat. I like it so much I got one for my wife and my dad so they are never left in the dark.
