Designed by John Browning, the Model 1885 High Wall is known as one of the finest single-shot rifles ever produced. Its falling block action is noted for its strength and incredible inherent accuracy. The stock is a straight grip style with a Schnabel forearm, finished in a satin, oil-type and finely checkered at the grip and forearm. The full octagon, semi-heavy barrel is 28" long and deeply blued. This special edition rifle is one of only 500 made and appears to be unfired. The 1885 High Wall Traditional Hunter features gold leaf engraving, a 28" octagonal barrel, a fixed front sight, an elevation-adjustable rear sight, an adjustable folding tang sight, and an adjustable trigger. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in excellent condition.
