Product Description
browning The Citori 725 Sporting may be the best target shotgun ever built. Unlike other low profile guns that rely on undersized trunnions and narrow, tapered pins to lock up their receivers, the 725 still has the rugged full-width hinge pin and transverse mounted locking bolt design of the original Citori. That means the 725 is built strong enough to compete year after year and round after round of breaking clay targets. The 725 also showcases Browning's Fire Lite mechanical trigger, a system that provides an unmatched feel with lighter pull weights than ever before. The innovative Fire Lite design does not rely on recoil to set the next shot and provides reduced take up, a crisp break and shorter overtravel. Inflex Technology recoil control keeps you shooting all day with none of the beat down feeling you can get with lesser recoil pads. Other features include Browning's Triple Trigger System, Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones, hammer ejectors, and a HiViz Pro-Comp sight with an ivory mid-bead.

Comments about Browning Citori 725 Sporting Shotgun:

I will just expound on what Clay Duster said.

Without a doubt the best Citori Browning has made to date, including the 325,425,525 and 625. Lighter barrels liven up the swing dynamics and also improve on overall balance.

New Invector DS (double seal) choke tubes which are longer than inv + and have a brass band on the choke skirt to seal in crud and gasses from entering into the choke threaded area.

Mechanical triggers. No more inertia triggers with this new model. Now you can count on both barrels always going "bang" with each pull of the trigger. Very crisp and clean with pull weights at roughly 3.5 lbs with very little creep.

Thinner receiver and improved feel in the grip and forend equate to an absolutely fine gun for the money. You could pay twice as much elsewhere with another brand and not have a better gun.

Comments about Browning Citori 725 Sporting Shotgun:

I have the 32in barrel verion. I bought this gun to shoot skeet, sporting clays and some trap. I was not disappointed. This gun is the best competition gun for the money. If you are a browning citori fan much of the workings of this gun are familiar the difference is a better balanced gun with a better swing and light recoil. The best Citori yet.I've let several shooters who own ultra high end Perazzis, Gueurinis and Kreigoffs shoot my gun and they all loved loved it. The gun is nicely balanced and swings smoothly. The wood to metal fit shows they put love into these guns. The trigger is crisp and light. The trigger is also mechanical so if you have a dud shell on the first shot, you can still take the second. The fiber optic front bead and ivory mid bead work well to help line up the gun. This Citori lighter at about 7lbs 10oz than the previous 625 and 525 versions. Despite that Recoil is light for an over/under. Due to the combination of low profile receiver, recoil pad and barrel porting. I plan to take this gun pheasant hunting this fall. This is an heirloom quality gun that will last a lifetime.

Comments about Browning Citori 725 Sporting Shotgun:

Use it for Skeet, trap and sporting Clays. Excellent gun with great results.
One little issue though. I bought the gun in December primarily for Skeet. The Skeet chokes didnt come with the gun and the release of the tubes has been delayed over 60 days now.
Boy I wish I could shoot Skeet with Skeet tubes!
