Product Description
browning Combine the appeal of the traditional lever action rifle, add the quality and handling of a Browning, mix in a little bit of rimfire fun and the result is the Browning BL-22. With a forged steel receiver, short throw lever and crisp trigger, it is always ready to take on a walk in the woods, knock over a few tin cans or even put some dinner on the table. Unlike many 22s, the quality of a BL-22 is evident from first glance, with beautiful fit and finish and accuracy to match. A BL-22 is certainly a rimfire rifle meant to be used and enjoyed now and for generations to come. Blued barrel on a walnut stock.

Comments about Browning® BL-22 Grade I Rimfire Rifle:

40 years later the finish looks like new, except for the bumps I put on it. I have a 4 power scope, looks like a coke can on this little gun, but I have put a lot of rounds through it, still accurate. I looked here to see the prices, wow, mine cost me $105.00. This gun has a safety on the lever, if the lever is not locked up all the way, it will not fire. It also has a half cocked safety. My grandson borrows it, borrows.

A great lever action

About Me Occasional Shooter

Pros

  • Accurate
  • Quality Construction

Cons

  • Loading tubular magazine

Best Uses

  • Plinking
  • Target Practice

Comments about Browning® BL-22 Grade I Rimfire Rifle:

Trigger moves with the lever so you can't pinch your finger. Short throw lever is stiff. A well made rifle, would benefit from a pistol grip instead of the straight stock.
