A predecessor to the A-Bolt, Browning's BBR was built by Miroku in Japan and helped prove that Japanese companies could deliver rifles that lived up to high European standards. The BBR uses a Mauser-style action that's machined from a solid billet of steel. The BBR was often known as the "fat bolt" because it has a much larger bolt diameter than most rifles. The rifle's receiver was made thicker to accept the bolt's size. This high-quality rifle features a 2-position safety and 24" barrel. Its wood and metal are in good condition. Its bore is in very good condition.
