Product Summary

Designed by John Browning himself, the Auto-5 was the first successful semi-automatic shotgun ever produced. The A-5 features a distinctive high rear-end, earning it the nickname "Humpback." The top of the action goes straight back on a level with the barrel before cutting down sharply towards the buttstock. The A-5's unique adjustable friction ring set helps control the amount of recoil. American Brownings were produced by Remington in the US for Browning after Belgium was overun by the Germans in WWII. The guns were made using Remingtons model 11 equipment. This shotgun features a B-prefix serial number, a solid rib, a bead front sight, a cross-bolt safety, and an adjustable Poly-Choke system. Its wood and metal are in fair condition and its bore is in good condition.
