    I bought this case for my scoped RWS air rifle. It measures 48 inches. This is a 48 inch case, but I can't zipper it shut. The butt stock is straight and the case curves, so the top part of the stock sticks out. This case is for a 46 inch rifle or smaller. Besides that- the case is made well for the price.

            The zipper broke off in my had the first time I unzipped it. Zipper is made of cheap pot metal. With the name "Browning" I expected a higher quality soft case, inside and out. In this instance, you don't get what you pay for. Save yourself [$] and purchase a no name soft case of the same low quality.
