Browning's 1911-22 has the look and feel or the original John Browning designed 1911, but fires affordable .22 LR ammo. The straight blowback design offers enhanced simplicity and reliability and all controls operate just like those on the original. Vertical serrations provide an improved cocking grip and the convenient manual slide release is easily operated with the shooting or support hand. The steel magazine body is heat-treated for long-term feeding reliability and long life. The Compact model is smaller and more portable than the already slightly smaller 1911-22. The Compact has a 6-3/4" overall length and weighs just 15 ounces. This pistol features laser-checkered, grade 1 black walnut double-diamond grips, fixed A1 sights, thumb and grip safeties, and a 10-round magazine and comes with the original factory hard case. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in very good condition.
