Browning's 1911-22 has the look and feel or the original John Browning designed 1911, but fires affordable .22 LR ammo. Through extensive research, Browning's gunsmiths determined that 85% of the original size was ideal for the smaller cartridge. The grip is comfortable even in large hands and feels equally at home in smaller ones. The straight blowback design offers enhanced simplicity and reliability and all controls operate just like those on the original. Vertical serrations provide an improved cocking grip and the convenient manual slide release is easily operated with the shooting or support hand. The steel magazine body is heat-treated for long-term feeding reliability.
The Black Label Laminate Polymer has a polymer frame with an under-barrel accessory rail for the mounting of lasers and lights. In addition, the Laminate Polymer comes with a host of custom features including: stippled black laminate grip panels, a checkered front strap, a commander hammer, a beavertail grip safety, and an extended slide release. An ABS carrying case is included.
