    I was very disappointed to find that these speakers do not come with the wire needed to install. I ordered these extra speakers to go with the pair that came with the radio. One would think that since the speakers that come with the radio come with wiring, an extra pair would also have the wiring. Not so. Not a big deal, but it would be nice if you were told in the ad, rather than having to run to Radio Shack before you can install them when they arrive. Speakers were larger than the older models I was replacing, but that was my bad for not measuring. The sound was better than average after all was said and done.

          I added these to the set of 2 that came with the Boss Radio/MP3 player. I had to cut 5.25" holes in the sides and the front of the boat to install these, and that can be a bit tricky. It certainly took a decent amount of time to cut the holes and run the wires, but it was well worth it!
