Comments about Bohning Bowfishing Kit:
you get what you pay for it was very cheaply made and i would consider getting a different tip great kit for a beginner but the best is the ams bow retreiver although there expensive if want a cheaper one [...] has a cajun yellow jacket bowfishing package for 99 bucks it comes with a great reel two of the best arrows on the market and a reel seat its a grteat deal if your going to use this make sure you hav all of your bolts tight and a stabilizer with a screw hole in the front it will help you get your reel tighter and it will help you reel easier like i said you get what you paid for

Comments about Bohning Bowfishing Kit:
I felt this was a very good choice for someone that wants to start bowfishing, but is not sure if they will like it. The low price and quality of this kit would allow someone to test the waters so to speak. This was purchased for my daughter as she expressed an interest in this sport.

you could but bow fishing is about fast pace and speed so just use the arrow to guide your shot and one thing to tell you aim low.Answered on 7/2/2009 by Rob from Grand Ledge, MIA:
ya dont realy aim with the diffrant depth, size of fish and the way the ligth hits the watter is kinda guess and check. make shure you aim under the fishAnswered on 7/4/2009 by fordfisher from CoonRapids, MN

you will want to lower your draw wt. for fish. it screws in where your counter wt. goes and you will want to take it off for deer hunting. takes 10 mins. to take on and off.Answered on 5/22/2009 by tinkle from holly miA:
As long as you dont have one of the bowfishing roller rests. You can use a typical drop-away or a whisker biscut.Answered on 5/26/2009 by Slim Pickins from Russellville, Ky.
