We read several reviews on Brass Blazer ammo, and had good experiences with the same brand 9mm ammo. My wife's new Sig Sauer P238 had issues with the .380 caliber rounds, however. We found that every 25th to 30th round would jam with FTF or FTE. This is after having already fired several hundred break-in rounds using different ammo, with no FTF/FTE issues. The P238 was cleaned properly before we hit the range with the Brass Blazer ammo (purchased 250 rounds). Once we noticed the jamming issue we began to take notes re: which of the magazines were used when the P238 jammed, and how rounds many had already been expended from the magazines (4 magazines, all Sig Sauer branded). The jams happened regardless of the magazine used or how far into the magazine the jammed round had come from. We then began to fire the prior brand (same visit to the range), and experienced no jamming.

If we had not already fired several hundred rounds to break the handgun in I would have figured the handgun just needed to be worked in. Had we not cleaned the handgun well between range visits, and had the alternative ammo fired perfectly, I may have considered something other than the Brass Blazer to be the cause of the jamming. Sorry, that is not the case.

Another Great Blazer product that keeps giving. As you know, the .380 is one of the mose desireable caliber self defense cartridge you can buy. As such this caliber gets very hard to find in larger bulk packages. This is a great deal for the Enthusiast. You won't have to count your rounds at the range wondering how many you have left.

Shooting my Sig Sauer P238 and using CCI Blazer Brass I had nothing but a great time. No failures to fire or feed. Worked great every time and was very accurate. I use nothing but CCI in all of my range guns and could not be happier. Their quality control is excellent. The 9mm also works great in my picky 9mm 1911.

                      • A:

350 for 9 mm, 250 for some other calibers, 0.380 for example comes in a 250-round case. I think it's just a marketing consideration.

                        It's still a good price.
