              • Q:

After purchasing new lift springs, will I be able to remove my old springs from the mounting brackets or will I need new brackets. The actual brackets look fine, but how do you disconnect old one?

                  A:

You can reuse the mounting brackets. The springs have a slide clip on each end to remove just the spring and not the mounting bracket.

                  A:

This item does not come with mounting brackets. The mounting brackets are sold in pairs separately as item numbers 74273, 33611, and 74274.

              • Q:

when measuring the lift spring where do I measure form and to? Is it the center of the mounting ends?

                • CUSTOMER CARE

                  A:

If you're measuring for mounting purposes, the mounting bracket holes would be the distance for which you would need to measure. The pegs on these brackets insert into the ends of the springs...so the distance of the actual mounting screws for the brackets would be longer than the actual spring length.
