I fully assembled this thing, and the last page of assembly mentions the ladder stabilizer. I went back through to see if I missed any parts, and I could not see that it was included. I called Gander Mountain, and their solution was to return it (of course, after I spent two hours assembling it). They then said I could just come back with my receipt and they would pull the piece out of another box. I thought that was a bit much, so I called Big Game on the phone, to only find out that they are only open during the week. Anyway, I installed it on Sunday, as that was my only opportunity, and I used my buddy's stabilizer to at least get it up. I had to remove it before I left, and it is pretty wobbly without one. I called Big Game today, and they called me back to inform me that the instructions were misprinted and that the double ladder was strong enough by itself and required no stabilizer. That is far from true. I asked if there were stabilizers for sale, and she gave me pricing, but "surprisingly" they had none in stock. She ensured me that the stand was safe and went through heavy testing. I will be either returning this thing or getting or making a stabilizer.

What else...the platform is soft underfoot. I had to remove an identifying information tag that had two screws so that the seat would remain up. When transporting, the top part is huge and heavy. It is so heavy that you would expect that the deck wouldn't feel so flimsy when you get on it! I don't think it's unsafe, but I am questioning how long it will last.

The angle of the ladder should be more exaggerated as well. I put it on a really straight tree, and the ladder is only slightly angled out. It feels more like a fire escape ladder.
