Very nice to shoot, fits comfortably in my hand. Well made for a lower price range gun and accurate. Bought for concealed carry. Some people say a 380 is too small to be effective, I say then let me shoot you with it and we'll see. Try to hide a 45acp in your pocket. Feeds any ammo perfectly with no problems so far after about 250 rounds. Whoever complains about long trigger pull doesn't understand double action guns. The trigger is actually better and smoother than on more expensive guns. Only drawback is 380 ammo is way overpriced compared to larger calibers.

This is not a gun for beginners still working on their form. Because the .380 round is inherently weak, a limp wrist will cause failure to load more often than not. You will need to put 200+ rounds through it to break it in, after which your experience should be relatively trouble free. This gun will jam every time you use reloads - period. If you use good quality ammo and a firm grip, this gun will provide you with hours of fun at the range with excellent accuracy. I will not allow my wife to use this gun for defense because I don't trust it to fire reliably.
On the other hand, she is very good at clearing ammo stove pipes which will be useful in other weapons.

Comments about Bersa Thunder Handgun:
I replaced a 9mm S&W semi-automatic with this and I couldn't be more pleased. This is still a 9mm, only shorter (9x17mm vs. 9x19mm), and has almost the same knockdown power. My accuracy is better with this (fixed barrel design) and the recoil is less. This just feels better like an extension of my hand. It came from the factory with one spent shell and a lot of grease. Once I cleaned it, it was absolutely perfect in appearance and performance. The owners of this gun on the Bersa website forum are apparently very loyal and I see why. It's a copy of the Walther PPK/S with much less weight and half the price. It's a keeper!

Comments about Bersa Thunder Handgun:
Gun is lightweight but evenly balanced. Fits my hand like a glove. 1st trip to range, ran about 250 rounds through it and no FTF or misfeeds. Performed flawlessly. Pretty much dead on accurate out of the box.

Comments about Bersa Thunder Handgun:
Purchased this a few months back from my local Gander Mountain with the intent on purchasing a gun that would conform to new york's new 7 round max magazine law. After tons of online research I found that these gun were getting great reviews, and after getting this one I can say they were all right. Great gun, good for carry conceal and great shooting out of the box. Can't say enough about this gun.

Comments about Bersa Thunder Handgun:
Excellent gun for Concealed Carry with Hollow Points makes a great defensive gun. My big 9mm is heavy to carry concealed but the Bersa is perfect size and fit.

Comments about Bersa Thunder Handgun:
This is one of my conceal carry weapons, the weight and size are a plus. I really was not impressed at the calibur at first, but in shooting it I think that it would be an effective defense weapon. I know that it is not a devastating round to stop somebody, but I do not intend to kill anyone. I would use it more as a deterent to unwanted aggressive behavior. If shot placement would be towards legs or even fleshy body parts, it would inflict enough pain that should make someone rethink futher aggression.
