Excellent Low-Vis Line
This is an excellent Low-Vis fishing line, that requires correct spooling to help eliminate line memory. Diameter and smooth handling allows you to go higher in line test than you would normally go.

Needs to be used with the right rod either casting or spinning. Not good for pitching heavy cover. Great for open water swimbaits, spinner baits, and open water top water.

Rigged this stuff up on my spinning reel for smallies on the St.Lawrence river. I used 10lb test because we work baits around alot of heavy rip-rap and dropffs. I knew something was up when i could break the line if I pulled the knot too tight. Had numerous break-offs, even from a chunky bluegill, before I swithced rods.
Berkley is good stuff but they dropped the ball on this one. I complained to Berkley USA but got nowhere with them.

I've used many fluro's and by a wide margin this is the worse. I know how to tie good knots, but with this line it is futile!

Comments about Berkley Vanish Fishing Line:
I have purchased 4 different spools with various Lb tests. I have not been able to tie knots with any of this line. No matter which knot I try tying (Uni, Improved Clinch, Palomar etc) it would break when pulled down tight... with very little pressure I might add. I will never buy this line again. It was a waste of money.
