berkley Berkley's new Amp casting rods have increased sensitivity to give every angler the very best chance to turn the subtlest strike into a catch. Amp rods feature X-Posed reel seats and split-grip cork handles, allowing the hand to remain in constant contact with the rod blank, and taking sensitivity and light weight to a new level. The rods come with an Armadilo Hide Finish that eliminates cut fibers and ensures the blank is free from imperfections.

This 1-piece, 6'6" casting rod has medium-heavy power, 8 - 20-lb. line weight, and 1/4 - 3/4-oz. lure weight. 6 guides.

        I was fishing the other night and I had I fish on the line probably 2-3 pounds and I was pulling the fish out of the water and the two loops closest to the top snaped off and the fish got away. That wasnt the only time I had heard of an amp rod snaping because my dad had the same problem when pulling a fish out of the water.

                  It's an alright rod for the money ,not very durable,u can't tighten ur reel on very tight or the epoxy starts to crack off ,overall should be a 10 dollar poal
