A variation on the Model 92 series that has been used extensively by militaries around the world, Beretta's Model 96 is a locked-breech, delayed-recoil operated, double/single action pistol. The Beretta 96's open slide design ensures smooth feeding and ejection of ammunition and allows easy clearing of obstructions. The hard-chromed barrel bore reduces barrel wear and protects it from corrosion. The locking block barrel lockup provides excellent accuracy and operability due to the in-line travel of the barrel. The 96G features a manual, ambidextrous decocking lever that, when released, automatically returns to the ready to fire position. This pistol has Trijicon 3-dot night sights and includes two 11-round magazines. Its grips, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
