A variation on the Model 92 series that has been used extensively by militaries around the world, Beretta's Model 96 is a locked-breech, delayed-recoil operated, double/single action pistol. The Beretta 96's open slide design ensures smooth feeding and ejection of ammunition and allows easy clearing of obstructions. The hard-chromed barrel bore reduces barrel wear and protects it from corrosion. The locking block barrel lockup provides excellent accuracy and operability due to the in-line travel of the barrel. This pistol has 3-dot sights, Hogue rubber grips, and ambidextrous and decocking safeties and comes with two 10-round magazines and the original factory hard case. Its grips are in very good condition and its metal and bore are in good condition.
