Product Description
The innovative ComforTech Plus System makes the Vinci the world's lightest and softest-kicking shotgun throughout the complete range of loads. In recent lab tests, the competition's guns produced peak recoils that were as much as 15% greater and total felt recoils that were as much as 22% greater than the Super Vinci's. The QuadraFit Buttstock Module customizing system allows easy adjustment of drop, cast, comb height, and length-of-pull in just minutes, with no tools required. The system securely connects directly to the receiver by a simple turn-and-lock, steel-to-steel attachment. By combining the In-Line Inertia Driven action, ComforTech Plus System, and QuadraFit Buttstock Module, the Super Vinci improves your Practical Speed Performance (PSP), the speed at which you can shoulder your gun, acquire the target, shoot, and recover from recoil to prepare for the next shot. You'll get peerless performance from the Super Vinci. 12 Gauge shotgun. 3-1/2" chamber. 28" barrel. |

Comments about Benelli Super Vinci Shotgun:
I recently purchased a 28" Super Vinci with the Max4 camo finish. About me: my only other gun was a 28" Benelli Nova pump and I know little just a little about guns in general.
I did a lot of research prior to purchasing the SV, and had narrowed my choices down to the SV and the Browning Maxus. Both guns felt the exact same in my hands and both shouldered well. I paid the extra $300 for the SV because my Nova was extremely reliable, and I was a bit hesitant to buy a gas operated shotgun (heard they were harder to clean and such). Also, I felt a bit of loyalty to Benelli after a particularly muddy mishap one duck season in AR. Garden hose, dry, rem oil, boom boom boom.
Anyway, here are my two cents:
Pros
Extremely light
Modular design (3 pieces) makes it really easy to clean and assemble
Tool-free assembly and breakdown
Comfortable ergonomics
Good safety size and location
Easy to load
Cycles all sizes and types of shells flawlessly
It breaks down really, really, REALLY easily
The recoil on 2 3/4" and 3" shells is light
It comes with 5 chokes and a convenient (albeit cheap) hardshell breakdown case
Cons
The camo finish chips somewhat easily
The recoil when shooting 3.5" shells is extreme, it's similar to the Nova
Overall, I am happy with the Super Vinci. Since my purchase, I have had the opportunity to shoot the Browning Maxus, and know that I would be happy with it also. The Maxus shoots 3.5" shells with less recoil, has a more durable finish, and costs $300 less. It breaks down quite easily as well. Both guns are awesome.
